2021 Tian Jian | Dark Tea 1 pound

Description

Deceptively light in body, but steeps up strong. Great vitality with a cup character of tobacco, apples, and mushrooms. Tread lightly and steep many times. 
This tea finished production in May, 2021 and was made by Mr. Fu Yong. The tea is grown at approximately 3,000 feet in Yiyang city from the Yuntai Daye cultivar. Tian Jian is one of the traditional forms “Hei Cha” (translation:Dark Tea) from Anhua county, Hunan province and has a finer pluck of one bud, two leaves. It get its particular character from having the primary material (hei mao cha) stored in bamboo baskets, allowing the tea to take on the subtle aroma of the bamboo.
