Traditional-style of Anxi oolong. The roast brings a nutty, vanilla aroma. The body is soft, yet full with a toasted, creamy, floral character. Steep longer to bring out brisk citrus. A great value and a “must have” tea!
Harvested and produced on May 1, 2023 and roasted on August 1, 2023 by our friend Mr. Lin Rui Fu in Anxi County, Fujian Province. It’s a one bud, 3-4 leaf pick from the Tieguanyin cultivar growing at 2,600 feet.
Iron Goddess of Mercy” is the English translation for the “Tieguanyin” – the name of the cultivar that is the standard-bearer for Anxi oolong tea.

Steeping Instructions
4 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 3 min.
Traditional Steeping
Use 8 grams of tea with boiling water in a 150ml gaiwan or teapot:
10 second rinse
1st steep – 25 sec.
2nd steep – 20 sec.
3rd steep – 30 sec.
4th steep – 45 sec.
5th steep – 75 sec.
6th steep – 2 min.
(or steep however you want)
