Description
Strong asparagus-like aroma, but the cup is a gentle broth that’s easy to enjoy. The texture has a light touch and the flavor is more sweetly floral than the intense grassiness common to Japanese green tea. Well-made and well balanced.
Produced spring of 2023. “Shincha” means “New Tea” and is the first tea made from the plants after winter dormancy. “88th Night” refers to 88 days after the first day of spring and is an auspicious day for the harvest of Shincha.
