A classic, complete, old-school first flush produced in 2022. The character has the soft, spicy, aromatic character that typifies Darjeeling. Wine-like mouthfeel, proper astringency, and a long finish.
Produced March 24-25, 2022 from the Muscatel Valley division of the Goomtee Estate in Darjeeling, India. It’s a one bud, two leaf pick from old plants originating from Chinese seed growing at approximately 5,000 feet. These were the very first leaves harvested from this section of the garden in 2022.
