Description
Mountains of flowers and lava in design, but mostly shorts and sandals in substance. Light in body and an unusually savory broth. It ends with high aromatics that may remind you of cardamom. A one-of-a-kind rock tea.
This tea was produced April 20-21,2022, and received a long, slow roast on November 17, 2022, by Mr. Soup. From Long Juan village in Anxi County of Fujian, China, it’s a one bud, two leaf pick from the Mei Zhan cultivar growing at approximately 2,200 feet. Rock teas from Long Juan Mountain are not common and the floral/spice potency Mei Zhan is well represented.
